Edwards Vogt - High Temp/Pressure Valves

Edwards Vogt takes a conservative approach to valve design. Serck Audco Plug Valves

The Serck Audco Taper Plug valves supplied by Valve Distributors Pty Ltd are manufactured in sizes ½” to 12” and are used on a wide variety of liquid, gaseous and slurry services. The Audco valve is derived from the plug cock design.

The Tapered plug is held firmly into its tapered seat but can be so adjusted that complete leak tightness is achieved together with smooth valve operation. The tapered seating surfaces of the plug and body are not exposed to the line fluid when the valve is in the open position, so that the effects of corrosion and erosion are confined to the less important parts of the valve. Also since there is a straight flow path through the valve, there is very little resistance to flow and pressure loss is minimized.
