High Integrity Double Block & Bleed Valves
Double Block and Bleed is a means of establishing positive isolation between two sections of a pipe system. Two independent seals close tightly at upstream and downstream ports (Double Block) and the pressure trapped between them is relieved, either manually or automatically (Bleed). The design ensures tight sealing even in low pressure applications and extends valve life by eliminating seal abrasion.
General Valve Twin Seal
Twin-Seal valves provide dependable, Double Block and Bleed shut-off over extended valve life. The design eliminates seat abrasion – a major cause of failure and leakage in most valve types. The outstanding sealing performance of Twin-Seal is achieved mechanically and is not influenced by high or low differential pressures. Rotation of the valve from open to closed is achieved without any contact between the sealing surfaces. Features:- Positive sealing both upstream and downstream
