3-Piece Ball Valves
A ball valve is a valve that opens by turning a handle attached to a ball inside the valve.
The ball has a hole, or port, through the middle so that when the port is in line with both ends of the valve, flow will occur. When the valve is closed, the hole is perpendicular to the ends of the valve, and flow is blocked.
The handle or lever will be inline with the port position letting you "see" the valve's position. The ball valve, along with the butterfly valve and plug valve, are part of the family of quarter turn valves.
3-piece ball valves unlike 1-piece and 2-piece ball valves were originally designed to allow maintenance to be carried out on the valve whilst allowing the valve to remain in the pipeline.
Series C44 Cryogenic 3-Piece Ball Valve

AW44 High Temperature 3-Piece Ball Valve
Cost-effective in minimising the loss of process steam. Using Fluorofill seat material, the AW44 is guaranteed on continuous saturated steam service up to 250 psi (17 bar) whilst other high performance seat materials provide even higher capabilities. Series F44 Firesafe 3-Piece Ball Valve

Series A44/459 3 piece ball valve

Series 5HP44 3 piece ball valve
Specifically designed for use in high pressure applications, the 5HP44 is suitable up to 345 Bar depending on media. The valve uses Delrin or PEEK seats with a high strength stem build, o-ring body seals and special body construction. Typical applications would be oil, inhibited water and nitrogen gas. Series 13/14 3 piece ball valves
The three-port series 13/14 is primarily a diverter valve with either 90 degree or, with mid-stroke isolation, 180 degree operation. Upstream sealing seats allow the mixing of two discrete media.
